Applications are now open for a Community Liaison Officer in Kimba, who will represent the Department and the National Radioactive Waste Management Facility Project. The successful applicant will be a local point of contact throughout Phase 2 of the consultation process regarding the facility. The position will be offered to someone that lives in the Kimba region, (or is willing to relocate), who has strong communications skills and is willing to travel throughout the region. The Officer will be an excellent networker and possess local knowledge and be able to effectively engage and reflect the views of all interested community members. The successful candidate will have established contacts across the Kimba District and Eyre Peninsula and be an active member of the community.
