The project team will continue to maintain a presence in local communities where sites have progressed to the technical assessment stage. In these cases a locally-based community liaison officer will provide a critical link between community and government.
The project team is on the ground every week in the communities surrounding the site at Wallerberdina Station at Hawker and Quorn. The team is based at 72 Cradock Road, Hawker, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and at the Quorn Council Chambers on Thursdays..
An ongoing presence will be established in Kimba for the duration of the technical assessment stage announced 27 June 2017.
